Meeting
Dates & Times
The Plan Commission
meets the second Monday of January, March, May, July, September, and
November if a petition has been filed. The meetings are in the
Butler City Hall at 120 West Main Street and begin at 7 PM. If
there is no business to be brought before the Commission, the meetings are canceled. Please contact the staff for the
Plan Commission at 260-868-5200 to confirm meeting dates and
times.

Procedures

Zoning Map
Amendment (rezoning) can be requested by a land owner.

for requirements and the process for a rezoning request.
The purpose of
Development
Plan Review is to assure compatibility of the new development with the
surrounding community and to promote innovation and creativity in the
design of the environment. See
Section 8.9 of the Butler City
Zoning Code for details regarding Development Plan requirements and the
process for development plan approval.
A Subdivision of Land
involves the division of a tract of land into smaller lots designed for
development. The process begins by filing an
Application for Primary Plat Approval.
Subdivision requirements and the process to obtain approval is detailed
in the
Subdivision Control Ordinance.
